Will the new conferences change the makeup of the BCS title game? That is the big question heading into this season, especially with such powerhouse programs of Utah and Nebraska playing in new conferences this season. I mean, Nebraska faces Ohio State this season and those are the types of new conference match ups that may have BCS title implications.

Oklahoma (+450) has the lowest odds and it not hard to see why, as they will have QB Landry Jones back and their defense should be the best in the Big 12. The Sooners are simply stacked this season and many experts are predicting them to win it all. Their 3rd game of the season hosting Florida State has major BCS title implications. The Sooners return 17 starters this season.

Alabama (+600) having the 2nd lowest odds even though lost QB Greg McElroy, RB Mark Ingram and WR Julio Jones to the NFL? Well, that is the case, as the defense should be one of the best in the nation again. The Crimson Tide have a HUGE test facing Penn State on the road early in the season.

Oregon (+1000) has 11 starters returning including stud RB LaMichael James and while the offense should be lighting up the scoreboard like they did last season their D, which lost 6 starters, is a concern. The Ducks play a killer schedule, as they not only face Stanford and Arizona on the road in Pac 12 play, but they also face LSU at a neutral site in their season opener.

Florida State (+1200) did lose Christian Ponder and a couple of stud linebackers, but they return 8 starters both on offense and defense. Their early season away game at Oklahoma is a major test to see if the Seminoles are a legit National Championship contender.

LSU (+1400) may have a great defense, yet again, as they have a couple of future stars in Ryan Baker and Morris Claiborne. Also, after not featuring a legit QB in the last few seasons Zach Mettenberger has a gun and he brings a lot of hype to Baton Rouge. Their early season game against Oregon is a killer one.
