This form of sports wagering can payoff well but the risk is also very high. If you are into parlay betting then you know it is a group of straight bets or total bets combined into one sports wager. You are able to mix up different sports on the same parlay and the payoffs will depend on how many sports teams are involved in your wager.

If there is a tie game in one or more of the individual bets on the parlay then the payout will step down to the next number of teams. If you are playing only a 2 team parlay and one team ties and the other wins the parlay will only payout 90%. This is because the parlay bet will resort back to a straight bet and payout accordingly.

Although parlay bets have a much higher payout there is risk involved and these sports bets should only be played for their entertainment value.
